Heather Sellars heads out to the ITU World Triathlon Series opener in Abu Dhabi (capital of the United Arab Emirates or UAE) sporting a new tri-suit emblazoned with Jackpot Racing’s logo. The race takes place on 7th March which should be relatively cool. The heat doesn’t bother Heather though, “I love the heat; the hotter the better for me!”
The elite race is over the sprint distance of 750m/20k/5k starting at the Abu Dhabi Sailing & Yacht Club, on the Volvo Ocean Race yacht pontoons.
Heather says, “My aim is to just enjoy my first World Series, without having any pressure, and getting stuck in there with the best in the world and hopefully get a good result.”
